Seminar: Standards for specification and classification of solid biomass fuels ČSN EN 14961

The seminar aims to familiarize participants with the requirements of the new European standards on the quality of solid biofuels, i.e. wood pellets, wood briquettes, firewood, wood chips in force in the Czech Republic in the 1st half of 2011 and the draft of European standard for fuel phytomass and clarify the orientation of the new standards, specifications and classifications, on the effectiveness of these standards in Europe, the requirements for wood pellets in Austria and Germany. There will also be presented subsidy programs affecting this issue.
New initiative for Biomass resources in the ecoEnergyland – Güssing, Austria
Project partner European Center for Renewable Energy Güssing (EEE) is working on a Master plan (Renewable strategy planning – RESP) for its COACH BioEenergy project region, the ecoEnergyland. The initiative ecoEnergyland itself is a co-operation between 14 communities of the Güssing district as well as the EEE itself with the goal to increase the use of renewables as much as possible.
On the 11th of March 2011 the European Center for Renewable Energy Güssing (EEE) is organizing the conference “Energy day” in Güssing. In co-operation with the Central Europe project “COACH BioEenergy” more than 20 exhibiting companies will inform different interest groups about all forms of renewable energies in the Technology Center Güssing. By organizing the conference students, private persons as well as companies and regional stakeholders should be informed on the one hand side about new technologies and developments as well as on the results of COACH BioEenergy and other regional initiatives itself.
Strategické plánování obnovitelných zdrojů zahájeno v Maďarsku
Jednou z probíhajících činností projektu COACH BioEnergy je implementace dříve vyvinutých strategií plánování obnovitelných zdrojů (Renewable Energy Strategy Planning, RESP) ve vybraných modelových regionech účastnických zemí.
Město Szada s 4 000 obyvateli ležící v okrese Pest bylo vybráno po dohodě se starostou panem László Vécsey. Již v r. 2007 pracovníci Institutu ekologického managementu krajiny University Szenta Istvána (SZIE) zpracovali studii proveditelnosti bioplynové stanice ve městě Szada. Komplexní plánovací činnosti jsou pokračováním dosavadní dobré spolupráce.
