Survey on the German bioenergy market now available
One of the Coach BioEnergy project partners, the German Biomass Research Centre (DBFZ) – responsible for the evaluation and assessment of biomass conversion pathways – has recently published a study on the mid-term future of the German bioenergy market in cooperation with Öko-Institut.
The report "IEA Bioenergy Task 40: Country Report Germany" predicts that the core concern of bioenergy expansion in Germany – similar to other Central European countries – is the sustainability of land use, and risks of potential indirect effects.
The report is available on the website of the DBFZ: www.dbfz.de
