Renewable Energy Strategy Planning
The Renewable Energy Strategy Planning (RESP) is one of the main parts in the establishment of renewable energy regions. The development of appropriate methods for selected model regions was an important part of the CBE project. The RESP is a kind of SWOT analysis for the region with main focus on renewable energy. The final RESP can be used by the regions as a kind of energy guide with assistance in questions of efficiency and saving measures, use of resources as well as the production of energy out of renewables.
Development process
The Regional Consultancy Bureaus (RCB) are trained for the necessary collection of important information for the future energy planning and to establish a close cooperation between stakeholders and communities. Especially energy related data as well as still existing initiatives and plans of communities are very important and their analysis is an important part of the RESP. The realization of of the RESP must be a close process between both parties, stakeholders and RCB, that will be supported by the network. The RCB can also support the information and integration of the inhabitants of the region to get a broad support for the energy related plans.
Action phase
Based on the collection of information the RCBs develop specific core outputs: measurements for energy efficiency, energy saving measures and substitutions of fossil fuels. Based on the suggested actions a decision about the future developments in the field of renewable energies - ecological and economical - is possible.
All involved steps of the RESP are offered by CBE network and optimal supported by the interdisciplinary connection of scientist and experienced consultants. The network provides all necessary resources.
