Since 1 June 2009, Dr Ulrich Eimer of the Berlin-based EPC consulting bureau works with the COACH BioEnergy project team as Communication Manager. This function had been advertised by the Lead Partner as a tender for "external expertise", and Dr Eimer won the competition to be a subcontractor. From earlier projects at national and European level, he has considerable experience in international project management, and a very good knowledge of EU programmes and policies.

His tasks as Communication Manager will mainly comprise:

• integration of the target group "public authorities" into the creation and usage of the knowledge management tool (Virtual Net "BioEnergy")
• supporting the structural and content-related production process towards the creation of the knowledge management tool
• conceptualization and application of evaluation measures towards the creation, introduction and sustainable usage of the knowledge management tool

To fulfil his tasks, Dr Eimer will be in constant contact with the project partners, in particular with Fraunhofer as the Lead Partner, as well as with the leaders of Work Packages 2 (Energia Klub) and 6 (Szent István University).
